setting up your EMAIL ACCOUNT
This page includes some basic information on how to set up your Email Account. For additional information, see how to make the most out of your E-mail Accounts.
STEP ONE: Log-in details
Once your website goes live, you will receive an email with your login details. The email should look like this:
The following email address have been setup for you,
Username admin@yourfirmname.com.au
Password s3cur3
Your Incoming Mail Server (POP3) address is:
mail.yourfirmname.com.au
Your Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) address is:
mail.yourfirmname.com.au
If you have not yet received a similar email, please contact software@yourfirmonline.com.au.
STEP TWO: Configure your e-mail account
To configure your mail client using Microsoft Outlook and above:
- Open Outlook. You will be greeted with the main screen from where you can access different parts of the Outlook Express program.
- Click Tools -> Email Accounts. A pop up will appear asking what you would like to do.

3. Click Add a new email account, and select POP3.

4. Enter your details, as below.

User information:
Your Name: this is what your email will be labelled with once it reaches the recipient’s inbox
Email address: this is usually in the form of, yourname@yourdomainname.com.au
Login Information:
Username: this will be your complete email address
Password: as sent to you by us
Server Information:
Incoming mail server (POP3): this will be mail.yourdomainname.com.au
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): this will be mail.yourdomainname.com.au
5. Click More Setting, followed by Outgoing Server. Check that the My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication box is checked.

Now click Advanced. The Incoming server (POP3) Port Number is 110. The Outgoing server (SMPT) Port Number is 587. Click OK.

6. Test your settings:
Once all fields have been filled out, the Test Account Settings option will become available. It is a good idea to click on this and run a test to make sure your email is functioning correctly. If there are any problems, email support@yourfirmonline.com.au for help.
Note: If you want to check your email on your browser you can login to “Web Mail”
Go to http://webmail.yourdomain.com.au and enter your email address and password to access your email account.
